Children’s Sunday School
Every Sunday during worship services, kids join the congregation in worship in the sanctuary. They depart after the children’s message to a unique experience designed with kids in mind.
Children’s Outreach Events
We offer exciting and encouraging events for kids throughout the year. Examples include Trunk or Treat, Easter Egg Hunt, Breakfast with Santa, and more.
2025 Vacation Bible School
ROAD TRIP: On the Go with God!
Kids will explore faith through music, crafts, games, and science, having fun all along the way. Get your kids registered ASAP!!!

Adults
Foodie Group
Meets on the third Wednesday of each month with a different theme or cuisine to prepare and enjoy together.
Whether you are an accomplished chef or a complete novice, we welcome you! Bring a dish or simply your enthusiasm for food and come join us for a meal and fellowship.
Praise Choir
We are always looking for singers for our Praise Choir.
Practice is every Thursday at 6:00 pm. We sing every Sunday morning for our 10:30 a.m. service, and for a few musical programs throughout the year.

Gardening
Like to garden, but have no space? Join in on our community garden. We “rent out” raised garden beds to plant your vegetables or other favorite plants. Contact our church office if you are interested in participating.

Scrapbooking
People gathered together to work on safe ways to keep traditional or digital photos, photo storage, memory keeping and photo gifts. No experience or prior knowledge needed. Join us and we’ll help you share your photos and stories for generations to come.
We usually meet twice a quarter depending on holidays and the church schedule. Check the church calendar or call or text Katrina at 757-285-8491 for additional information, questions, or to register for the next gathering.
Women’s Ministry
Open to all women who are interested in creative ways to live out your faith. We meet once each month on the second Monday at 11:00 a.m.
You don’t have to be a Beech Grove member to join us. We sponsor several church and community benefit activities and fund raisers each year.
United Methodist Men
The United Methodist Men is an informal group of men who meet “occasionally” and plan ways to serve our church and community.
You might find us busy cooking bacon and eggs for “Driver Days” Saturday morning breakfast, hosting a community-wide Pancake Supper on Shrove Tuesday (Mardi Gras), or grilling chicken or hot dogs for a church luncheon. We may lead in a church yard and garden clean up. We have fun enjoying each other’s company. Come join us!
